Apparently, all the cool kids are doing 'Magic Loop Knitting'.
I've been reading about it.
Thinking about it.
Wanting to try it.
But not quite brave enough.
Anyway, this week I finally decided to give it a go, with this top-down pinwheel beanie. And guess what - I'm not quite sure what I was expecting, but it's really not hard at all!
For my next challenge, I might see if I can actually finish it (unlike a certain pair of socks that my lovely husband has been waiting 3 years for!).

Looks lovely. I think it might be the word magic that makes it seem tricky. I really want to knit some socks so may have to give it a try
ReplyDeletegreat! congrats
ReplyDeleteAll I want to do is knit a pair of socks. But apparently you can do them with a magic loop, with a circular needle or with the 4 needles. Crocheted socks are sounding good right about now as I am a bit (make that a lot) lost!
ReplyDeleteok Nat, you'll have to show me!!
ReplyDeleteI think I need a 'better' needle ;)
